yep its down to the last night at home, I keep switching between being so excited I could wet my pants to being nervous enough to loose my puffed wheat cake (thanks to Heather for supplying snacks for my trip). I skipped out of work early, told the boss I wasn't doing anything so might as well go home...as you can imagine he was shocked (NOT). Gracie has been dropped off at Artistique Acres which she was pretty excited about till she found out she was staying, don't think she likes the noisy neighbours keeping her up all night.
So I suppose I should introduce you to my other traveling partner. Her name is Nancy and we've been friends since way back in the Kelsey days. We both lived in a girls boarding house and after a few months of eating mystery meats we decided it was time to move out and we became roommates and as they say the rest is history. So neither Nancy or I have every traveled across the pond as they say so it should make things interesting, think blind leading blind. I called her on the weekend and chatted with her husband and all he had to say was please promise to find her in Toronto airport (we are flying out of different cities and meeting there) She called me tonight in a panic about her packing, she's worried about coordinating her outfits and wearing her fancy jacket in London, me I'm just hoping I haven't put on any weight and my new duds still fit. I figure since we survived as roommates ( she only got REALLY mad at me once in 3 years) this trip should be a breeze. She's already got us lined up for supper with her cousins on our first night there, cousins she's never met so I only hope we sit down with the right people, then again it might be a good way to meet people. I apologize for not posting her picture at this time but I don't appear to have a digital copy at the moment, but don't worry before the next 2 weeks are over you will be sick of seeing us all. By for now and stay tune tips on flying long distance....I'm sure we'll have lots of "don'ts" to share
toodles and cheerio
